How Half-Life 2 Episode 3 Really Ended!

Today the world got the best news from the last 20 years. The real script, or rather a short story version of it was made public today by Marc Laidlaw, the original writer for the Half-Life series. If you’re a Valve fan and the Half-Life universe touches your heart then pay close attention for what i’m about to write. It’s like almost two days ago i started playing Half-Life and i was running through Black Mesa labs, it’s like almost yesterday i was fighting the Combine. I saw Eli, his last moment before he died, and then the screen became black. That was a mind-blowing ending at that time and i just couldn’t wait for the episode finale, number 3. It was announced, it was in the works, but it never came. We wanted an ending and they did not want to deliver.

Later this year people were heartbroken when it was announced that all of the Valve employees that worked on the Half-Life series were no longer with the company or have retired. So that meant that what people hoped could have been some future game for the Half-Life series, just turned to ash. The original creators were no longer so the game is officially dead.

After all these years we still have a place in our hearts for that mute scientist with a crowbar, after all this time. I believe this means something, i guess that’s why i’m writing this and you’re reading these lines. People want the full story, and after all these years we just got it. Reasons for releasing the story after all these years vary, given the recent Valve debates and controversy surrounding the Half-Life game in recent months. Why now and why at all? Nobody knows, good thing is that it eventually surfaced. So let’s just get into it, visit this link to read the whole story of the lost Half-Life episode. It’s called Epistle 3 and offers a glimpse of what could have been a closure for the events of episode 2. While reading the story please keep in mind that names, people and locations have been changed for reasons i guess you’re aware of. If you don’t get it at first, please read it again and a miracle will happen…we find out what happened at the end of episode 3. In conclusion…the path of the Borealis.

This is a moment in gaming history, my friends!
